Forgive those rather lengthy quotes in the preamble, but they seemed necessary to me.

Indeed, these 24 German industrial and financial leaders not only helped Hitler come to power. What are the most polluting and most dangerous industries for the survival of the EARTH and the Terrans?

** Coal and lignite mining (fine dust dangerous for the lungs & carcinogens, in addition to GHGs).

** Oil and gas exploration.

** agro-chemical industries (pesticides, herbicides, indiscriminately killing billions of pollinating insects, birds and bats).

** chemical industries (contamination of soil and groundwater, becoming unfit for human or animal consumption).

** textile industries and dye industries.

** plastic industries.

** concrete (overexploitation of sand & gravel, which weakens river ecosystems and coasts) and all construction industries (road bitumen, glass, steel, aluminum, tiles, linoleum, carpets, weight of materials transported and modes of transport , etc).

** blast furnaces and metallurgical industries.

** palm oil (destruction of forests), corn (water) and soy industries (Amazonia being deforested, with heavy CO2 consequences).

** non-restorative mining industries (eg: bituminous oil extraction, with forest felling, without new plantings and monitoring, gold extraction with mercury, without mercury filtering / recovery and discharge into rivers and oceans).

** automotive, maritime (and tank bottom degassing) and air industries, with discharges of heavy carcinogenic and GHG pollutants, and metals used in chemical batteries.

** transport, and in particular diesel locomotives (USA, Australia, etc.), heavy fuel oil freighters, fuel oil trucks, jumbo planes taking off and landing.

Let us summarize what costs the most to our Mother EARTH (Pachamama in the Andean cosmogony) and to human ecosystems.

** heating furnaces, thermal power stations or boilers, duration of the rise and heating.

** waste heating and fuel due to lack of insulation (construction, all public and private buildings, hospitals, etc.).

** make empty transports (cars, trucks, freighters, planes, boats, trains).

** waste and not recycle: concrete, plastics, textiles, furniture, toys, electronics.

** any mortality or endangerment of pollinators (bees, insects, birds, bats, small mammals).

** any endangerment of groundwater and the level of rivers, streams and streams (melting glaciers and snow, absent or sudden rains).

** all sudden variations in temperature and drought, forest fires (with massive rejection of CO2 from fires into the atmosphere).

Which solutions for Mother EARTH ?

** Simple principle of Polluters paying for their Pollution payeur, à acter ento become law in Europe and in all countries to make all actors responsible.

** International Market of CO2 and CH4 to build, boost & accelerate in trading, with a rapid growth of CO2 credits to deter pollution and motivate all industrials to quickly reduce their  CO2 and CH4 footprints before 2030 or latest 2040.

** Interconnect as a Top Priority all energy producers to fluidize energy availibility everywhere (except in villages where solar or BioGas are the best solutions) and prevent loss of massive Green energy production, due to lack of batteries or solutions to reuse them later on, as they are not used immediately. Energize the international mlarket of energies and share ressources.

** Forbid burning torches on all gas and oil fields.

** Filter 100% of all pollutants CO2 and other gases, toxic fumes and toxic byproducts sent to rivers or oceans, with heavy controls and fines to make pollution too costly and prevent it.

** Transfer 30% to 40% of all road transports towards rail, river and cycling transports or any low CO2 solution (especially, urban local deliveries, such as French start-up K_Ryole, a supplier to French postal services, Bouygues, Monoprix).

** Grow Agroforestry solutions on all farms, with a potential of 500 to 50,000 trees per farm and millions of farms and cooperatives turning to trees with 3 growth factors 1/ Better productions 2/ Growth of millions of trees and  their CO2 storage 3/ Bring shades and protection on ecosystems and livestock .

** Energize agricultural and forest biotechnologies and aim at enriching soils with vertuous bacteria as does the French start-up BioIntrant, with brilliant researchers with over 30 years of research experience. Invest in BioTech start-ups (banks, insurance companies, business angels).

** REFOREST with varied plants chosen by agronomists in Brasil (Amazonia), Canada, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Borneo, Asia, Africa, America.

** Multiply by 10 BioGas produced  by livestock and farmers and recycle the méthanogenic sludge (French start-ups such as Valogreen, NENUFAR).

** Accelerate all new energy technologies including heat pumps, thermical différentials, tidal turbines, green fuel producing algae.

** Relaunch nuclear power secured stations to have 24/7 available energies to face the fast growing electric vehicle fleets.

** Accelerate research into nuclear fusion, which could produce> 10% of the world’s electricity by 2035 or 2050 at the latest.

Have you thought of cycling the Tour de France once a year as many cyclists and I do, with an average of 300 km a month on your wheels ? Yes, you may keep cycling under the rain with a raincoat, in the wind, and even on the snow in Paris, as I did today, in winter times.

Cycling has become to me a new Nature, a natural way of life. During the last 9 years now (since Fall’2011), I have cycled over 35,400 kilometers, already 80% of the Earth’s circle at the Equator (42,000 km). And I keep cycling further, day in, day out, week in, week out.

Is that difficult ? Not really ! But please be cautious. Your life is worth a lot more way more than a simple helmet, whilch I do strongly recommend !

What do you need to start ?

You may start with a simple bike, with good brakes, to be checked every 6 months, a bicycle bell, good tyres, lights in front and in the back, an indispensable helmet to protect your head, ideally gloves for long distances or the cooler seasons, And ideally a fluorescent vest to be seen at night. 

And I promise you : Your hardest part will only be to ride for your first 3 km and feel confident on your bike. Once you’re on and cycling with tiny regular efforts, nothing can stop you !

You will enjoy

• fresh air in your face

• no pollution coming out of your wheels

• moving a bicycle of 8 to 20 Kg around rather than a car from 400 Kg to over 2,000 Kg (2 tons)

• being free and find alternative and shorter routes, without being stuck in your car…

• a better sensation of Nature, Trees, Parks, Streets, Rivers, Flowers and Life

• natural daily physical efforts keeping you fit, young and beautiful 

• going freely alongside long lanes of cars every morning or evening in peak times, remaining free on your 2 wheels

Tour de France professional racers do cycle between 3,200 and 3,900 kilometers a year, along 3 weeks, in 21 days.

I do anything between 3,600 and 4,200 kilometers a year and you may do your 3,900 kilometers in 24, 48 or 60 months. Important is only to ride without polluting and carrying a very heavy car for your limited use (80% of daily commuters are alone in their cars, ie a 1.4 ton car to carry a 70Kg Human).

Any new kilometer on your bike will mean less CO2 and pollution in the air, a way of telling your kids, your grand-kids and grand-grand-kids : 

« You are important and you do no matter for me. I care for you, your future Earth in the 2030’s, 2060’s,  and 2080’s and yous comming generation ! ».

The recent confinement in France and in Europe has had a significant consequence in Paris : Decathlon sports shops (leader in Sports articles in France) and especially the cycling sections of the shops have been assaulted by hundreds of buyers lats May 2020, making most racks empty for days or weeks, following the wish of many to cycle rather than being cloaked with hundreds of other passengers in transport cars, subways or commuter trains, with long transportation time and risks to catch the #virus. They also took advantage of some 180km of new cycling lanes installed in Paris.

This gets quite visible on the cycling lanes, where some parts of them see hundreds of cyclers going both way on certain sections and cycling links, like Javel (former Citroen cars factory and headquarters) to Saint-Michel famous Jazz and Cabaret section of Paris alongside the Seine river.

Now, Europe has grown up from 30m cyclists every week to over 70m in a matter of years. In France alone, the figures have nearly trebled from 3m to over 8.5m people cycling at least 4 times a month, some of them daily, as I do.

And don’t forget, you need a 10-year mature Tree to compensate the CO2 pollution emissions of an average car, while your bikes will help you enjoy Nature and prevent Greenhouse gases induced by CO2 cars and trucks.

Yes, transports do account for 45 % of CO2 emitted in France and your bikes will help prevent Hurricanes, Floods, Sea-Level Rises, Wild Fires, Hundreds of buildings burnt like in California, catastrophic Temperature rises in Alaska, Australia, Brasil, Canada, Siberia, Japan, India, China, Asia, Spain, Portugal, France, Africa and so on…

The recent crisis with the Coronavirus (over 450,000 European victims so far) has shown a number of points

• European scientists are brilliant but they do find more and reach a lot more together, when working in European teams.

• European engineers and technicians have brilliantly succeeded in building the Concorde planes, the AIRBUS family of planes and TGV trains covering over 33,000 kilometers of European train routes at High Speed, such as 200 to 390 kmph, as well as a growing number of innovative start-ups in many European countries, with deployment Europa wide or at least in half a dozen major markets within years.

• European doctors and medical care systems are NOT working closely enough together and have therefore performed very differently since last pandemic occurred from 27th December 2019, though.. China was still not telling the world until much too late…

• European governments and Länder (Germany) have chosen very different solutions and routes to fight the virus, with some of the best performing EU members helping their neighbours (such as France, who is warmly thanking Germany, Austria and Luxembourg for their support) better welcome and care for the worse hit regions and hospitals.

• European researchers are currently active in testing some 9 different vaccines on animals or Humans since March 14th, 2020, but are mostly doing so on national bases, even if many EU doctors are crossing boarders and are also welcoming non-EU doctors in their hospitals. And such doctors and nurses do contribute a lot to the European Health services.

• European citizen initiatives, small companies, local doctors, large companies and NGOs or volunteers have often been far more reactive, outperforming largely national politicians or governments and have succeeded in many brilliant developments and outcomes, such as the recent mask solutions and ventilators’ solutions based on existing tools reinvented (such as Decathlon diving materials reused for the Hospitals) or improved by various groups in Italy, France, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Scotland, Switzerland, Czechia, Greece, Lithuania, Austria and so on.

Now EUROPE, mother of the modern times democracies such as in Ancient Greece cities of Sparta and Athens, has a number of obvious DUTIES, to get out of 2020 pandemic and Coronavirus crisis and economic downturn

• TEST massively all its 270m working forces to help them get back to work safely and let at least growing numbers of 75m then 150m then 225m of them get back to open work and be able to travel all through Europe safely, without transmitting the virus.

• TEST massively all 7m citizens who are currently Residents in nursing Homes to save them from the virus and isolate and cure the infected ones.

• impose MASKS and gloves in all public transportation all through Europe.

• Generalize the successful Hydroxychloroquine + Azistromycine curing protocol (at a very low cost) tested with success on 3,000 patients by world-famous infectiologist Didier Raoult and his teams from IMU Marseille, as long as the vaccines will not be available (Senegal doctors who are following this protocol are having one of the lowest if not the lowest number of victims per million inhabitants in Africa)

• favor successful European vaccines so as to let them become available shortly in millions, with the support of the European Union Council as with the backing of European Central Bank (ECB)

• Create ‘vaccinated or immune’ European passports and Health cards to permit European citizens to travel and work more broadly within Europe and abroad, when external countries will allow it 

• get all the kids and students back to SCHOOLS and Universities or ‘Grandes Écoles’ by mid-June or the end of June, postponing vacations for one month or 6 weeks

• re-open all shops and companies, starting with the smallest ones with the simple rules already acted in many countries, with again masks made compulsory everywhere

• re-open all open-air markets, in case some would have been closed, as in France

• reopen train lines, plane links with a growing set of schedules, respecting the above rules of reusable masks for the Earth, reusable gloves, gels, respect of 2m distances..

• generalize frontal thermometers in all public places as well as thermal cameras in all stations, airports, harbours, boarders, public offices, shopping malls, and so on

• generalize software tracking tools all over Europe, to find out quickly all those who might have been infected while meeting infected individuals, to isolate and cure

• reopen tourism within Europe with strict rules as mentioned above and groups limited to 50 to 150 with growing air ventilation and air cleaning systems

• Grow massively SOLIDARITY between European countries to help save millions of SOHOs and small and medium-size companies and their employees’ jobs.

• reopen open-air theatres, cinemas, festivals, with same above measures of compulsory masks & gloves, gel distributors in all entrance halls, with a growing number of attendees, starting with 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, and so on… And re-open closed theaters & cinemas later on, with public seated with compulsory masks and gloves and seated with respect of distances…

• reopen beaches with compulsory masks for all and respect of 2-meter distances, except when swimming

• Support African Health systems to help them build hospitals, decrease public corruption by 90%, and improve national Health security systems in the 54 African countries with local dispensaries created and supported by the EU at minimal cost. Double number of African doctors trained. Better small efficient Units than big expensive ones.

• Accelerate CO2 reductions everywhere in Europe with Paris Agreement Objectives to be exceeded and CO2 emissions to be reduced 60% by 2030 and 90% by 2040 

• Grow Urban Forests and Agroforestry solutions by +100% by 2,028 and +300% by 2,040, planting millions of Trees and plants around buildings, streets, houses and housing and shopping areas.

• Generalize electric and Hydrogen-powered trucks and buses and forbid oil-powered trucks & buses by 2,035.

• Stop Coal mines and coal powered thermal stations by 2,025. Treble solar, wind and biomass energy outputs. Grow by +50% Hydro-electricity and Marine electricity solutions

• Forbid 100% of wild-life animal trade, such as elephant, rhinoceros, pangolin, bats and so on in Europe and lobbying for a worldwide ban on such damaging trades, both for biodiversity dangers and for biological dangers of viruses migrating from animals to Humans, as seen in the current worldwide pandemic, started in world number 1 importing country in wild life and animals = China.
